Terms of Service
1. Who we are
MaghrebPaw ("we", "us", "the App") is a mobile app that helps dog owners across the Maghreb region find walking meetups, arrange adoptions, and connect with other pet owners nearby. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the App. By creating an account, you agree to these Terms.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. You're responsible for the accuracy of the information in your profile, including your pet's details, and for keeping your account credentials secure.
3. What the App lets you do
- Create a profile for yourself and your pet(s), including photos.
- Browse and organize dog-walking meetups with an approximate location and meeting point.
- Request to meet or adopt a pet listed by another user.
- Message other users about a walk, meetup, or adoption request.
- Report content or users that violate these Terms or our Community Guidelines.
4. Meeting other users in person
The App facilitates introductions between pet owners — we do not vet, background-check, or supervise any user, walk, or meetup. You are solely responsible for your own safety and the safety of your pet when meeting anyone through the App. We strongly recommend meeting in public places, telling someone where you're going, and using your own judgment before sharing your exact home address or meeting a stranger alone.
5. Content you post
You keep ownership of the photos, descriptions, and messages you post, but you grant us a license to store, display, and distribute that content within the App so it can function (e.g. showing your pet's photo to other users, showing a walk you've hosted on the map). Don't post content that is false, infringing, hateful, sexually explicit, or that endangers an animal's welfare.
6. Reporting and moderation
We provide in-app tools to report users, walks, and content. We may review reports, remove content, warn, suspend, or permanently ban accounts that violate these Terms, at our discretion. Decisions may be made by our moderation team using information available in the App (reports, account history, reported content).
7. Account termination
You can delete your account at any time from Profile settings. We may suspend or terminate an account that violates these Terms, engages in harassment, posts fraudulent adoption listings, or otherwise misuses the App.
8. Disclaimers
The App is provided "as is." We don't guarantee that any user, pet listing, or walk is accurate, safe, or as described. We aren't a veterinary, animal-welfare, or safety authority, and adoption arrangements made through the App are solely between the users involved.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, MaghrebPaw is not liable for any injury, loss, or damage — to you, your pet, or a third party — arising from a meetup, walk, adoption, or interaction arranged through the App.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
